DirectBuild is operated by DIRECTBUILD PTY LTD (ABN 64 700 702 692, ACN 700 702 692). DirectBuild connects homeowners with verified service providers, coordinates site visits, and supports quotes and payments. This policy explains how DIRECTBUILD PTY LTD handles personal information through its website, provider app and related services.

Information we collect

• Contact, identity and business details supplied by homeowners and providers.
• Project requirements, service regions, availability, bookings, quotes and outcomes.
• Call recordings and transcripts only where recording consent has been obtained. A provider sees only separately approved, privacy-reviewed material.
• Account, session, device, security and service-usage information.
• Payment and payout status. Payment-card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by DirectBuild.

How we use information

We use information to qualify projects, match providers, authenticate accounts, coordinate visits, deliver quotes, process payments, prevent misuse, support users and meet legal and accounting obligations.

When information is shared

DirectBuild shares only the information needed to deliver the service. Before a visit is confirmed, providers may see a first name, suburb, privacy-safe project scope and specifically approved media. A homeowner's surname, phone number, email and street address are not released to standby providers. The selected provider receives the street address only after DirectBuild confirms the booking.

We also use contracted infrastructure, communications, storage, analytics and payment suppliers that process information for DirectBuild under their applicable safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

Storage, security and retention

We use access controls, encrypted network connections and controlled media links. We keep information only as long as it is reasonably needed for the service, security, dispute resolution, accounting and legal obligations. Records may be de-identified when full deletion is not legally appropriate.

Your choices and account deletion

You may request access or correction by contacting DirectBuild. A signed-in provider can initiate permanent account deletion from Account → Delete account in the app. DirectBuild completes valid deletion requests within 30 days, subject to records we must retain for legal, payment or audit purposes.
